Now you can enjoy specialty coffee, espresso and cappuccino at home or in the office. The new opal from Schaerer gives you push button convenience and quality engineering. From whole beans to the finished product by a touch of a button, the machine will automatically grind whole beans, compress the grinds, brew one or two cups and discharge the used grinds into a container.

All brewing parameters such as temperature, water dosage and amount of coffee can be programmed for each of the 4 product buttons. The opal also features pre-infusion for optimum extraction and the perfect crema. This is the only super automatic espresso machine in its class that features an independent steam boiler.
